Position Overview
Sacks Tierney P.A., a highly regarded, full-service Arizona law firm based in Scottsdale, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of civil litigation, including probate litigation, commercial disputes, real estate litigation, construction-related matters, contract disputes, and general civil claims. The position will also manage a portion of contested probate and trust litigation matters.

Core Civil Litigation Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse civil litigation docket from intake through trial and appeal.
- Handle depositions, evidentiary hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and procedural matters.
- Conduct complex discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and thirdparty subpoenas.
- Represent clients in commercial, business, and real estate disputes.
- Develop case strategy and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.
Probate Litigation (Portion of the Role)
- Assist with will and trust contests, fiduciary disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, contested accounting, and capacity/undue influence matters.
- Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries regarding risk, strategy, obligations, and dispute resolution.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 4–8+ years of civil litigation experience; probate litigation experience preferred but not required.
- JD from an accredited law school and active Arizona Bar license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills; courtroom and deposition experience required.
- Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Strong client service orientation and sound professional judgment.
