Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney, based in Walnut Creek, CA, with some flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years’ experience; manage and execute various legal tasks related to trust and estate litigation, including:
drafting legal documents
conducting legal research
propounding and responding to discovery
regular appearances at court hearings
preparing for and conducting depositions
participating in mediations and trials
strategic case assessment
providing advisory services to clients
navigating significant legal matters involving families, financial disputes, and estate-related concerns

Requirements
Qualifications
Strong foundation and expertise in probate law, particularly in trust and estate litigation
Experience in drafting and filing motions and similar legal documents
Proficiency in court procedures and appearances
Competence in conducting depositions and trial presentations
Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
Ability to manage complex cases and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations
Bar membership in good standing in California
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Detail-oriented, punctual, and prepared for deadlines and court proceedings
