Description

Multistate civil litigation firm seeks a highly motivated and organized attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to fill the position of managing partner of its Florida satellite office.  The position concentrates on defense of consumer counterclaims arising out of credit card collection actions, as well as general commercial litigation and judgment enforcement.  The candidate must be located and admitted in Florida.  This position offers an outstanding opportunity to work with highly experienced attorneys, represent Fortune 500 clients, and develop and expand the firm’s existing practice.  Compensation will include a base salary, plus a profit-sharing component, together with health insurance and other employee benefits.  

Requirements

In addition to active admission to the Florida bar, the ideal candidate possesses the following traits: (a) working knowledge of state and federal consumer collections laws; (b) civil litigation experience, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and judgment enforcement; (c) competent research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills; (d) ability to work under pressure and/or time constraints; (e) self-motivation and professional confidence; (f) excellent organizational and client compliance capabilities; (g) strong commitment to honesty, integrity, professional ethics, and teamwork.
