Associate Attorney – Yakima & Kennewick, Washington
Compensation: $105,000–$125,000 DOE + Production Bonuses
Tamaki Law, a leading personal injury firm serving Eastern Washington, is seeking two Associate Attorneys to join our growing teams in Yakima and Kennewick. With a reputation for excellence, community trust, and outstanding results, our firm offers a unique opportunity for attorneys with 1–2 years of experience to develop as litigators while contributing meaningfully to the pursuit of justice for injured clients.
About the Opportunity
This position is suited for an attorney who is ready to deepen their litigation skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. At Tamaki Law, you will work on a diverse and sophisticated personal injury caseload, including catastrophic injury matters and complex litigation. You will gain direct experience in key aspects of case development and client advocacy, with mentorship and guidance from experienced trial attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and advance a personal injury caseload with increasing independence
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare written discovery
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and negotiations
- Assist with trial preparation and strategy development
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Uphold the firm’s commitment to high-quality representation and ethical practice
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor and active membership in the Washington State Bar
- 1–2 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation or personal injury
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and client-centered attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented practice
- Spanish bilingual skills are valued but not required
