Company History
In 1950, John Reid and Jack Riege opened the doors of Reid and Riege at One Lewis Street in Hartford, Connecticut. At the outset, the firm limited its practice to tax and business planning, estate planning and settlement, and retirement planning.
Over 76 years later, having grown substantially in size, the firm remains a strong presence in Hartford and has increased the scope of its offerings to a full array of legal services which have been available for decades. Though the firm may seem different at first glance, it is important to note that we have remained true to our roots and our founders’ standards and values: commitment to our clients’ success, adherence to sound legal and business ethics, and contributions to the community.
