The firm’s health care practice works with more than 2,400 clients nationwide including hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers, accountable care organizations, private equity funds, long-term care facilities, IPAs and medical groups, and other types of providers.

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position is as follows.

  • Los Angeles, CA: $305,000 to $315,000.  


In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications.

Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range is Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate of the annual salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting.

Requirements

Our Health Care Practice Group is seeking to hire a motivated senior associate to join our Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to join Nixon Peabody’s national health care practice, which has received numerous national and regional rankings, including by Chambers USA, Legal 500, and U.S. News/Best Law Firms.

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience working on mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions for health care companies and organizations, and a broad knowledge of general corporate law to work on matters in the areas of private equity and joint venture and M&A transactions.   Experience with healthcare and/or life sciences transactions is a plus.
